In the Summer term Year Two learnt about how toys have changed over the years. They explored real toys to find out the different ways that they moved. After exploring and discovering the children practised skills such as measuring and sawing wood, as well as joining materials together in different ways (including hammers and nails). Finally, all were able to plan and make a moving toy using the skills they practised during the term. The children did a fantastic job and produced some great moving toys.
