As part of our History curriculum, Year 2 have been learning about World War 1. To help develop their understanding, the children experienced a World War 1 immersion day.  The children came to school dressed as a soldier or a nurse. During the day the children experienced what life in a trench may have been like and how a nurses' role during the war was equally important.
