For Year 2's topic this term we are learning about Antarctica and have been exploring Emperor Penguin's in English. We started by reading the Emperor's Egg to help us to role-play waddling around and carrying the egg on our feet! Year 2 have been working hard to put together a non-fiction book including a contents page, facts and labelled diagrams. In Maths we have started to look at money and the children have had lots of fun at home and Key Worker School to create their own shop working with total amounts of money and giving change.
