In Year 2, we have been learning about the Rainforest. In Geography, we have looked at where the rainforest are placed in the world and how they compare to our local area. In Science, we have been looking at the different layers in the rainforest and the different animals that live in each layer. We have been reading The Great Kapok Tree in Literacy. We have been learning about adjectives, nouns and verbs and how using them makes our writing more interesting.  We have also acted as the man in the story and talked about how he felt at the different parts of the story.
